Valentine White Stuff

It’s exactly one week until my second favorite holiday…Valentine’s Day! My mother in law made this at Christmas, but you can have it any time of year and swap out appropriately colored M&M’s. After making it several times, I’ve mastered the art of making it fast enough that the chocolate doesn’t harden too fast and the M&M’s don’t melt. Follow my directions to get the perfect consistency! I’ve included several pictures to help you. Share some with those you love most, and have a happy Valentine’s Day!

24 ounces vanilla almond bark

2 cups pretzel sticks

2 cups Cheerios

2 cups Rice Chex

2 cups Corn Chex

1 – 10 ounce bag of plain M&M’s

In a make-shift 😉 or actual double boiler, begin slowly melting the almond bark. In a large bowl mix pretzels, Cheerios, Rice Chex and Corn Chex. Open the M&M bag and have it ready to pour. Have waxed paper or foil spread out on the counter ready for the White Stuff. When the chocolate is melted, drizzle it over the cereal mixture. Once the melted chocolate is over the cereal mixture, dump in the M&M’s. Gently and quickly mix the chocolate in so that it coats all of the ingredients. Pour the mixture onto the foil and let it harden. After it is dry, break it into small pieces. Enjoy right away, or store in an airtight container.
